Join Great Leap and JANM at The Huntington as part of the THIS LAND IS ... Community Festival, a celebration of 250 years of the collective co-creation of America. Among the festivities, Great Leap will offer: 

3 participatory workshops:

10:30 AM Bon Odori 

11:30 AM Son Jarocho 

12:30 PM West African Drum & Dance

1:30 PM Nobuko Miyamoto's sweeping documentary, A Song in Movement, directed  by Tadashi Nakamura and Quyên Nguyen-Le, followed by Q & A

3:00 PM a mini-FandangObon

Celebrate in the best way we know how — together in circle, surrounded by all ages and cultural backgrounds in collective joy.
