With “all the alls” of the world right now, come dance/move/play, and be in the circle with our diverse Los Angeles communities. This event is free, family & community friendly! No experience necessary - all levels of movement and interest welcome!

Great Leap’s FandangObon is an evolving gathering of Japanese, Mexican, West African, and Sufi Muslim music and dance traditions to deepen relations, cross-cultural solidarity, and our interconnectedness with the Earth and each other.

Join us at 4pm for a new opening ritual and sharing honoring the moments in this historic plaza from the 1940s through 2025! We are excited this year to continue to celebrate Queer & Trans resilience and welcome BiMAK LA - to share traditions from the Cordillera Mountains in the Philippines!

Come back into the circle. Learn new dances and celebrate classics with us! Wanna learn a dance - CLICK HERE
