Hunger means starvation
Happiness is feeling good, glad
My family eats spaghetti, lasagna, and pizza
If I would fast from anger, it would be hard to give up screaming into my pillow
A way to feel closer to my family is writing a letter
I wish all the hungry people in the world could eat what I eat and have lots of good food

The moon was white
With orange leaves blowing
And on a shrine
I see food
Chocolate
Rice with meat
A driver’s license
A steering wheel
And on the name of the man
Was my uncle
A respectful man
Of honor

Filled up the sky.
A smoke pipe,
Glasses
And coffee
Are placed on the altar.

Sorrow faces filled
Up the hood.
He flew in and out,
Staring down at all the people.
I have never seen him before.

But someday I will
As I make my way up
To heaven.
His spirit will always be
Behind me.
I miss grandpa.
