Through the workshops we met a diverse range of folks from Boyle Heights. Danny and Saburo "talk story" about playing baseball with the Cougars in the 30's, Leo "talks story" about his progressive family and the Roosevelt High School Walkouts in the 40's, and Bambi and Kathy open up about growing up as children in the 50's. |
