CA State Legislature passes 2006-07 state budget
The budget includes the following funding for the Arts:
- $5.11 million for the California Arts Council (including NEA funding and Arts License Plate revenue)
-
- $105 million for ongoing arts and music education
-
- $500 million for one-time block grants for arts/music/PE supplies and equipment
The Governor is expected to sign this budget before the beginning of the new fiscal year, July 1, 2006.
